This September, we are back with an extra special King & Caboodle Cabaret collab as we join forces with global burlesque icon Little Peaches for ‘DisabiliTease’ - a celebration of the diverse talents of disabled performers! For ONE NIGHT ONLY 'DisabiliTease' King & Caboodle Cabaret X Little Peaches edition, will bring you a unique night of cabaret featuring drag kings, burlesque and more with an absolutely STELLAR line-up… Hosted by Little Peaches herself and STARRING…. ✨ Manly Mannington - Burlesque Bombshell winner and producer of The House Of Mannington, this cosplaying, AfroFuturist drag king has taken the UK by storm with their sensational theatrical performances. ✨ Bolly Ditz Dolly - Award-winning ‘Neo-Bollyesque’ Queen known for bringing ‘big DITZ energy’ and a unique blend of burlesque and Bollywood that celebrates the golden tunes of yester-year with a tassel-twirling twist. ✨ Tito Bone - This self-proclaimed “Accessexy AF” performer is just your ‘average blind enby bisexual drag king who wants you to smell the world through their nose’. ✨ Neon Flare - The ultimate 80s synth babe who masterfully blends burlesque with a unique fusion of styles into playful and provocative performances. ✨ Guy Liner - Expect white facepaint, rakish charm, and an unexpected answer to the question of what you can do with an English Lit degree, from this iconic Edinburgh king who always has a couple of tricks up his limp-wristed sleeve. ✨ Grimin Evil - This up-and-coming ‘shape-shifting drag king’ explores villainous tropes and characters you love.. but like the Scottish weather, you never know what mood he'll be in! Created by Little Peaches in 2019 to support and showcase disabled performers in a space that was as inclusive, accessible and safe as possible for all, ‘DisabiliTease’ provides several opportunities to support and enjoy the show, in person or from afar - see Ticket and Sponsor options for more details. Thursday, September 26th @ 18 Candleriggs | Doors 7:30pm, Show 8:30pm (the show WILL start promptly) Note: The show is 18+ and contains strong language and sexiness and a healthy dose of satire. Content/Trigger warnings will be given for acts if needed. Raffle, Tips & Merch: There will be a raffle*, tips bucket and a merch stand - cash and contactless payments accepted. *more info about raffle below Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible. The show will include BSL Interpretation. No strobe lighting will be used. Noise canceling headphones and fidget/stim toys, face masks and foam earplugs available upon request from our Access Angel. The show will run from 8:30pm with one interval and end at 10:30pm. ACCESS FUND From July 1, our access costs are no longer being covered by funding from Creative Scotland. Having BSL interpreters and Access Angels at our shows now is only possible with funds raised from RAFFLE TICKET SALES. Raffle prizes for this show include a photoshoot worth £120 sponsored by The Femme Fotog. You can also opt to support our Access Fund by making an ACCESS FUND DONATION when you buy a ticket (or if you cannot make the show).
